Over the years Qreer has asked our customers how they track where the best candidates come from, and how they measure if a recruitment channel is successful or not.
Most companies fortunately measure the number of candidate’s sources, e-mails sent, calls made, or candidates that passed the various stages of screening. However, how does a company know which sources are successful and which sources failed?
How do companies make their decisions which sources they will choose to continue cooperating with? If companies are not measuring the sources they used for the recruitment process, how does a company know which sources should be used in the future? And which source better can be divested?
# Which sources will you use?
First of all it is important to choose the sources a company would like to use for your recruitment carefully. Who is the target group? Through which sources will a company reach your target group? How many different sources does a company need to approach it’s target groups and more relevant is the most effective channel to use a job board, a recruitment agency or maybe social media or social network?
In the end, when the company has decided which sources you would like to use, is there one question left. How can a company know if the sources used for my recruitment are effective and successful?
# How can recruitment sources be measured?
The chosen channels will say they were successful and contacted or redirected high quality candidates to you. But how can a company check it if there is no clear evaluation report or data from the full recruitment funnel?
Why is it uncommon to get a report from the different channels at the end of a job vacancy, posting period or campaign showcasing detailed statistics based on which further choices can be made.
# Outsource – Qreer’s job report
Well Qreer does. Qreer sends detailed job reports at the end of every vacancy period. Qreer wants to share the results with its customers to further improve the recruitment strategy.
When a job vacancy from a customer has come to an end, Qreer will make a job report for that specific job, set of jobs or period of exposure. The job report includes: How many job seekers have viewed the job on Qreer.com, how many applicants were redirected from Qreer.com to the customers ATS or e-mailbox, the background of the candidates and the countries of citizenship. This creates the insights a customer needs to make a funded decision to continue the partnership and exposure generated and see the added value and just as important, the return on investment done.
