The future is a great unknown and attempts to predict it are both fraught with difficulty and also contain a risk of producing prophecies that mislead decision making. If asked us five years ago why we’re in the job board business we would explain that we see a need for a board where recruiters and applicants have a clear overview of technical job demand and supply. Today, we know that our job board may offer a part to the solution of a much bigger problem.

The unemployment rate is an important indicator for both social and economic dimensions, unemployment can be seen as unused labour capacity.
